Abstract submission system

I3S congress has strategically chosen to leverage the Sciencesconf.org platform for abstract management due to its robust features tailored for academic events.
Sciencesconf.org was developed by CCSD, a French research support unit under the supervision of CNRS, INRIA, and INRAE, serving scientific and academic communities.

Calendar

  • October 2025 | The Call for abstracts is open.

  • December 31st, 2025 | Deadline for abstract submission for oral communications. Poster submissions remain open

  • January 2026 | Registration is open.

  • February 2026 | Authors are informed about oral communication selection. Acceptance notifications sent via email and personal account ; Final notification of abstract acceptance for oral communications.

  • March 2026 | Deadline for poster submission.

  • April 2026 | Authors are informed about poster selection.

  • May 1st, 2026 | Deadline for early bird registration. After this date, abstracts will be cancelled if not registered.

How to Submit Your Abstract

Step 1: Create Your Account

Go to SciencesConf.

Click on « Create an account » in the Authors Zone.

Fill in your details to set up your personal account.

 

 

Step 2: Submit Your Abstract

Log in to your account.

Select « Submit your abstract » in the Authors Zone.

Complete the abstract form with the required information:

⚠️ Important Notes:

All abstracts must be written in English and submitted online.

Submissions by fax or post will not be accepted.

The submitting author is responsible for ensuring all co-authors have consented to the submission.

Abstracts must contain sufficient data and align with the congress scope to avoid rejection.

 

 

  • Title (max 25 words, descriptive, no commercial names)
  • Authors (name, initials, full address, email of corresponding author)
  • Summary (max 400 words)
  • Preferred session (see key themes)

Upload your abstract in Word format using the provided template.

You will receive a confirmation email with your abstract number for future reference.

Step 3: After Submission

Your abstract will be reviewed by the Scientific Committee.

You will be notified of the decision by email:

  • End of February 2026 for oral communications.
  • End of April 2026 for posters.

If accepted, you may be asked to upload an updated version of your abstract via your account.

How do I submit my abstract?

To submit your abstract:

  • Go to SciencesConf.
  • Create a personal account in the Authors Zone.
  • Click on « Submit your abstract » and fill in the required information.
  • Upload your abstract in Word format using the provided template.
  • You will receive a confirmation email with your abstract number.

What are the key deadlines?

Call for Abstracts Opens: October 15, 2025

Deadline for Oral Communications: December 31, 2025

Deadline for Poster Submissions: March 2026

Notification for Oral Communications: End of February 2026

Notification for Posters: End of April 2026

Early Bird Registration Deadline: May 1, 2026

What information is required for my abstract?

Your abstract must include:

  • Title (max 25 words, descriptive, no commercial names)
  • Authors (name, initials, full address, email of corresponding author)
  • Summary (max 400 words)
  • Preferred session (see key themes)

Format: Title / Authors / Introduction / Methods / Results / Conclusion (one table or figure allowed, max one page).

Can I submit my abstract by email or post?

No. All abstracts must be submitted online via SciencesConf. Submissions by fax, email, or post will not be accepted.

What language should my abstract be in?

All abstracts must be written in English.

How will I know if my abstract has been accepted?

You will receive a confirmation email with your abstract number after submission. Final decisions (acceptance/rejection and presentation type) will be communicated by email:

  • End of February 2026 for oral communications.
  • End of April 2026 for posters.
Can I update my abstract after submission?

Yes. If your abstract is accepted, you may be asked to upload an updated version via your SciencesConf account before the deadlines.

What are the requirements for oral presentations?
  • Duration: 15 minutes presentation + 5 minutes Q&A.
  • Format: PowerPoint (16:9 ratio).

 

What are the requirements for posters?
  • Size: A0 format (841mm x 1189mm), portrait orientation.
  • Display: Posters will be exhibited in the poster room throughout the congress.
  • Printing: Authors must bring their printed posters. Attachment systems will be provided on-site.
Do I need to register for the congress if my abstract is accepted?

Yes. At least one author must register and pay the fee before May 1, 2026, or the abstract will not be published.
